Job summary

Bay State Community Services Inc seeks an empathetic Recovery Coach to work one-on-one with individuals and families on their recovery journey. You will help set goals, navigate challenges, and connect with essential resources in home- or community-based settings.

Responsibilities include supporting parenting groups, driving to client locations, and maintaining strict confidentiality. Experience with sustained recovery and parenting is highly valued, with bilingual skills encouraged.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bilingual in Haitian Creole, Spanish, Portuguese, or Cape Verdean Creole encouraged.
• Lived recovery and parenting experience required.
• Strong organizational and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one recovery coaching to individuals and families.
• Assist clients with goal setting and resource navigation.
• Offer home- or community-based support and care coordination.
• Develop and implement parenting groups to support recovery.
• Maintain confidentiality and adapt to a flexible schedule.
