Job summary

VIA Metropolitan Transit in San Antonio seeks a Paratransit Transportation Administrator to lead scheduling and dispatch, partner with Reservations, and ensure safe, reliable paratransit service. Reports to Manager of Paratransit Operations and oversees scheduling and dispatch staff.

Responsibilities include developing SOPs, monitoring KPI, coordinating with IT, ADA compliance, and preparing reports. Requires a Bachelor's in Business Admin or related field and at least five years of paratransit

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Transportation, or related field and 5+ years of paratransit experience.
Knowledge of scheduling and dispatch hardware/software and PC-based applications.
Strong problem-solving, organization, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Directs Paratransit Scheduling to ensure staffing coverage and optimum schedules.
Directs Paratransit Dispatch to monitor revenue service and adjust schedules as needed.
Develops and implements dispatch shift work assignments.
Monitors scheduling hardware/software and coordinates with IT and vendors.
Investigates inquiries related to paratransit schedules and generates responses.
