Job summary

The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority is seeking a Contract Administrator to oversee paratransit contracts and vendor performance. The role ensures adherence to contract terms, monitors SLAs, reviews data, and coordinates with stakeholders to drive service improvements and cost efficiency.

You will conduct regular provider meetings, manage contract lifecycle milestones, and support RFI/RFP processes while upholding MBTA's diversity and inclusion goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Two years of experience in Transit Service Delivery, Project Coordination, Contract Management, or Contract Administration.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong organizational, analytical, time management, interpersonal and multi-tasking abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence across levels.
• Ability to supervise a diverse workforce.
• Ability to pass background screenings and MBTA medical requirements.
• Willingness to travel to MBTA locations.
• Commitment to MBTA's diversity and inclusion goals.

Responsibilities

• Manage third-party service contracts by enforcing terms and ensuring effective business processes.
• Meet with providers regularly to review progress and evaluate service level performance.
• Maintain clear scope of authority and procedures for contract decisions, modifications, and amendments.
• Monitor contract expenditures and invoices.
• Oversee provider performance management to realize contracted scope.
• Conduct audits, risk assessments and provider monitoring.
• Lead monthly and quarterly business reviews with MBTA and providers.
• Work with stakeholders to set SLAs and identify data needed to manage performance.
• Oversee KPI/SLA reporting and address non-compliance issues.
• Support RFI and RFP processes, including bid comparison, analysis, negotiation, and selection.
