Job summary

MBTA is seeking a Contract Administrator to oversee paratransit contracts and vendor performance across the service area. The role focuses on enforcing terms, monitoring KPIs, and driving cost efficiencies while maintaining safety and accessibility commitments.

You will coordinate with stakeholders, review SLAs, manage contract life cycles, and support RFI/RFP processes. A bachelor’s degree and 2 years in transit or contract management are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Two years of experience in transit service delivery, project coordination, contract management, or contract administration.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
• Willingness to travel within MBTA service area and pass background screenings.

Responsibilities

• Manage third-party service contracts by enforcing terms and driving cost efficiencies.
• Meet with providers regularly to review progress and evaluate service levels.
• Monitor expenditures, invoices, and reporting; ensure KPI/SLA adherence.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to set SLAs and critical data needs for performance.
