Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED with Parapro assessment or PSC-approved equivalent.
• 60 semester or 90 quarter hours from a PSC-approved college/university.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers and students by working with students individually or in small groups.
• Provide instruction to students as prescribed by supervising teacher and reinforce skills.
• Utilize games, stories, or other activities to enhance student learning.
• Assist in checking and evaluating student work.
• Help manage student behavior and maintain classroom order.
• Support in lesson plan preparation and teacher pre-planning sessions.
• Assist in diagnosing student math and communication skills and monitor progress.
