Qualifications

• Graduate from paramedic, nursing, PA, chiropractic, medical or naturopathic training.
• If foreign medical schooling, must be licensed/certified as RN/MD/DO per state.
• Minimum 1 year healthcare experience; plasma/whole blood center experience preferred.
• Ability to assess heart and lung sounds and signs of drug use.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate donor suitability for automated pheresis.
• Provide limited emergency care to donors and staff.
• Interview donors and review medical history for suitability.
