Job summary

CSL Plasma in McAllen, Texas, is seeking a Paramedic to support donor screening and automated pheresis procedures. You will provide limited emergency medical care, interview donors, and review medical histories to determine donor suitability.

Work with the Center Medical Director to answer medical questions and escalate critical cases as needed. Responsibilities include reviewing test results, determining continued donor suitability, and counseling donors on reactive findings.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a paramedic, nursing, physician assistant, chiropractic, medical school or naturopathic training program.
• If graduation is from a foreign medical school, licensure or emergency medical technician certification is required.
• For NY: licensure or certification as RN/MD/DO or reciprocal state.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate donor suitability for automated pheresis procedures.
• Provide limited emergency medical care to donors and staff.
• Interview donors and perform medical history reviews.
• Respond to medically related questions with Center Medical Director.
• Review test results to determine continued donor suitability and counsel donors on reactive results.
