Job summary

Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking a Paralegal to support a national counsel team in automobile insurance defense and MFR claim management. The role requires five years of experience and a Paralegal Certificate or related degree, with proficiency in docketing, discovery, and coordinating filings across multiple offices.

The position emphasizes organization, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while leveraging Firm-approved tools and AI.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of experience with automobile insurance defense, including minimum financial responsibility.
• Paralegal Certificate or Bachelor’s degree in a law related field or Associate’s degree and paralegal training.
• Significant, substantive legal-related experience may be considered in lieu of formal education at the discretion of the Managing Director.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to attorneys in all aspects of MFR claim management and litigation, including fact investigation, medical record review, docketing and case deadline management, and drafting litigation documents and client reporting.
• Prepare materials for and assist in deposition, hearings, and trials and attend as needed.
• Prepare draft pleadings and discovery; coordinate filing of pleadings and service.
