Job summary

KIPP Public Schools Northern California is seeking a Paraeducator to assist in academic and behavioral support for students in SPED and general education settings, including distance learning when needed.

Responsibilities include reinforcing learning activities, supporting behavior plans, and ensuring an inclusive classroom environment. The role is full-time, 12-month, with competitive benefits and a higher annualized pay due to extended break pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; up to 48 college units preferred.
• A.A. or B.A. degree or pass ParaPro/CBEST.
• Experience with or serving individuals with academic/behavioral needs preferred.
• Proficient in Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Work with students in small groups or one-to-one to reinforce learning.
• Assist in implementing behavior intervention plans.
• Support social interactions and positive relationships between students with disabilities and their nondisabled peers.
• Provide testing accommodations and monitor student progress.
• Maintain a safe, clean classroom and confidential records.
