Job summary

KIPP Public Schools Northern California is seeking a Paraeducator for Elementary (26-27) to support students in both in-person and distance learning environments. The role focuses on academic and behavior support within special education and general classrooms.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; a BA degree or 48 college units preferred or ParaPro considered.
• Pass the ETS ParaPro Assessment (460+).
• Experience with or willingness to support students with diverse needs is preferred.
• Proficiency with Google Suite and basic instructional technology is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in small groups or one-to-one to reinforce learning.
• Support behavior intervention plans and positive reinforcement strategies.
• Foster positive relationships among students, including those with disabilities.
• Provide testing accommodations and supervise assessments.
• Attend IEP meetings and participate in school activities.
