Job summary

KIPP Public Schools Northern California is seeking a Paraeducator to support students in core academic and behavioral areas in both in-person and virtual settings. You will reinforce learning activities, assist with behavior plans, and help students access all educational environments.

Responsibilities include modeling positive behavior, providing emotional support, and collaborating with Education Specialists to ensure student progress and safe, inclusive classrooms.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• A.A. degree or B.A. degree (or 48 units) is preferred in instructional support roles.
• Passing ETS ParaPro Assessment (460) or CBEST is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Assist students in small groups or one‑to‑one to reinforce learning across core subjects and distance learning.
• Support behavior intervention plans and positive reinforcement strategies.
• Foster social interactions and positive relationships among students with and without disabilities.
• Model appropriate behavior and provide emotional support to students.
