Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is hiring a Panelboard Wiring Associate (B-Shift) in Sumter, SC. The role runs Monday to Thursday, 3pm–1am, with a $20/hr base rate and eligibility for a variable incentive program.

You will wire panelboards using wire strippers and pliers, read wiring diagrams and BOMs, and ensure quality through inspections while maintaining safe, compliant work practices. Candidates nearby are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year wiring experience.
• 1 year experience in manufacturing or operations.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• No relocation benefit; within 50 miles of Sumter, SC.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a safe, engaged and inclusive work culture by following policies.
• Use wire strippers and pliers to perform wiring of switchboards or panelboards.
• Interpret manufacturing information to select and install wires and complete production.
• Understand power flow and comply with regulations when wiring switchboards or panelboards.
• Maintain progress and communicate shortages.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and root-cause analysis.
• Quality focus including inspections and troubleshooting.
• Cross-train and stand in for others when needed.
