Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division in Greenwood, SC is seeking a Panel Layout Technician II, G2 for our new facility. The role involves assembling, wiring, and modifying electrical assemblies, following drawings and supervisor guidance, and supporting customers and engineering with development work.

The position pays $20.00 per hour plus a $1.00 per hour shift differential, with core hours on evenings and a training period on first shift. Variable incentive program available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Experience with hand and air tools.
• 1 year of industrial manufacturing experience.
• Basic computer skills.
• No sponsorship or relocation beyond 50 miles; Greenwood, SC area preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, wire, and modify electrical assemblies per guidelines for medium/high voltage equipment.
• Follow drawings or supervisor directions to established procedures.
• Fill out ISO, quality, and production checklists as required.
• Mount and install electrical equipment and perform wire operations.
• Lift and assemble heavy copper parts as needed.
• Report shortages to Kanban inventory operators.
• Inspect assemblies for loose hardware and cleanliness.
• Assist engineering, drafting, and supervision with development work.
• Train and coach colleagues to share knowledge.
