Job summary

Eaton Corporation in Sumter, SC is hiring a Panelboard Coordinator on the B-Shift (3pm-1am, Mon-Thurs) to help meet production goals and ensure timely order fulfillment. The role involves working with the Supervisor, reviewing orders and documents, and coordinating with manufacturing while promoting safety and quality.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, 2 years manufacturing experience, and be within 50 miles of Sumter; an associate degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• 2 years of manufacturing experience.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship.
• Must live within 50 miles of Sumter SC to be considered. No relocation benefits offered.
• Associate’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to effectively manage projects and initiatives with multiple priorities.
• Experience with Eaton systems including order entry (Vista), material management (DMM), MRP/ERP (AS400).

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe, engaged and inclusive work culture by proactively addressing and resolving concerns, and escalating issues to your supervisor as appropriate.
• Work directly with the manufacturing team to ensure that customer orders are executed in a timely and efficient manner and that the most urgent orders are fulfilled first.
• Review orders and associated documentation (drawings, travel documents, bills of material) as needed to ensure the team has the appropriate information to complete the job and to assist with troubleshooting problems with the order documentation
• Communicate professionally to provide updates on the status of specific orders, resolve issues with production and promote teamwork across departments.
• Serve as a subject matter expert and support functional training efforts of the team.
