Job summary

Eaton's ES AMER ARS division in Sumter, SC seeks a Panelboard Assembler (Breaker Build) on 1st shift to assemble breakers per blueprints and BOMs. You will measure components, install material, and follow procedures to ensure quality and safety.

Responsibilities include reading drawings, performing quality checks, and collaborating with the team to meet production goals. Competitive pay with overtime and a variable incentive program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read blueprints/manufacturing diagrams.
• Experience with measuring devices (tape measure, calipers).
• Experience in lean environments and process improvement.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble metal bus bars and other switchboard components per front views, BOMs, drawings, and blueprints.
• Use hand tools and a tape measure to follow procedures and install materials.
• Monitor progress, identify shortages, and communicate issues to maintain safety, quality, and productivity.
• Perform quality checks and visual inspections, identify nonconforming parts, and troubleshoot errors.
• Support 5S and safety policies; cross-train for other roles as needed.
