Job summary

Eaton’s Sumter, SC facility is seeking a Panelboard Assembler on 1st/B Shift to assemble switchboards and panelboards from drawings using hand and power tools. This role emphasizes safety, quality and teamwork.

Responsibilities include reading front views, BOMs, diagrams, and following procedures to install components, identify shortages and maintain production progress. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• No relocation benefits; candidates must reside within 50 miles of Sumter facility.

Responsibilities

• Assemble switchboards/panelboards using hand and power tools.
• Interpret drawings/diagrams/blueprints to manufacture custom panelboards.
• Collaborate with team to meet safety, quality, and production goals.
• Identify missing components from BOMs and production orders.
• Perform quality checks and troubleshoot assembly issues.
