Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is hiring a Panelboard Production Associate on 1st shift at the Sumter, SC facility. You will assemble switchboards and panelboards from drawings, using hand and power tools while adhering to safety and quality standards.

The role emphasizes teamwork, communication, and adherence to lean practices. Eligible for a variable incentive program, the position hours are 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., with pay of $16.75 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Assemble switchboards/panelboards from drawings, diagrams, or blueprints.
• Follow established procedures to install components using hand and power tools.
• Maintain progress and communicate shortages or issues to meet safety, quality and productivity goals.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and perform root cause analysis as needed.
• Perform quality inspections and identify nonconforming parts; assist with troubleshooting.
