Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Panelboard Production Associate - Line 3a for its Sumter, SC facility. The role is on 1st shift, 5:00 am to 1:30 pm, with an hourly rate of $16.75.

You will assemble switchboards and panelboards per drawings, BOMs and blueprints, using hand and power tools and ensuring safety, quality and productivity. The position requires a high school diploma or GED and legal work authorization in the United States.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
• No relocation benefit is offered; candidates must reside within 50 miles of Sumter facility.

Responsibilities

• Assemble switchboards/panelboards using front views, BOMs, drawings and blueprints.
• Select and install components using hand and power tools following established procedures.
• Maintain safety, quality and productivity goals and communicate shortages or issues.
• Cross-train and cover other roles as needed.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and root cause analysis when issues arise.
