Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Panelboard Assembler (Breaker Build) for the Sumter, SC facility on the 1st shift (Mon-Fri 5a-1:30p). The role requires reading blueprints, assembling breakers, and ensuring quality from start to finish. Team collaboration and adherence to safety standards are essential.

You will measure, assemble, and test components per diagrams, with a focus on productivity and continuous improvement in a Lean environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Experience reading blueprints/diagrams and following instructions.
• Demonstrated ability to measure and assemble components using hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install breakers and internal components from diagrams and blueprints.
• Use hand tools and measuring devices to accurately assemble panelboards.
• Maintain quality through visual inspections and identify nonconforming parts.
• Support safety and 5S practices in a lean production environment.
• Collaborate with team to meet schedule, quality and productivity goals.
