Job summary

Eaton’s Sumter, SC facility is seeking a Panelboard Production Associate for 1st/B Shift (Mon-Fri, 5:00am-1:30pm). You will assemble switchboards/panelboards from drawings and BOMs, using hand and power tools, while maintaining quality and safety standards.

You will work with team members to meet production goals, identify shortages, and suggest process improvements. Eligible for an employee incentive program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Residence within Sumter area (50 mile radius) preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend drawings, blueprints, and BOMs.
• Computer literacy and lean concepts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble panelboards and switchboards per drawings and BOMs.
• Use hand and power tools to install components.
• Ensure quality through visual inspections and identify nonconforming parts.
• Collaborate with team to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals.
• Identify process improvements and perform root-cause analysis.
