Job summary

Intermountain Health St Vincent Regional Hospital in Billings, Montana, seeks an experienced Palliative Care RN to provide compassionate, holistic care for patients and families navigating serious illness. You will coordinate care, educate about options, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support comfort, dignity, and quality of life.

Qualifications

• RN license in state; compact license transfer within 60 days if applicable.
• BSN from an accredited program; education verified.
• BLS certification for Healthcare Providers.
• BSN must be obtained within four years if <12 months experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care and act as navigator for palliative care patients and families.
• Educate patients and families on diagnosis, options, and resources.
• Assess symptoms and support symptom management plans with providers.
• Triage patient and family calls and care concerns.
• Coordinate services across primary, specialty care, hospice, home health, and community resources.
• Support advance care planning conversations and documentation.
• Provide ongoing follow-up and care coordination throughout the journey.
