Job summary

Intermountain Health St Vincent Regional Hospital in Billings, Montana seeks a Palliative Care RN to provide compassionate, holistic care for seriously ill patients and their families, coordinating care and supporting decisions with dignity.

This role offers a Monday–Friday schedule (8:00 AM–5:00 PM) with no routine nights or weekends, a comprehensive benefits package, and strong collaboration with physicians, social workers, chaplains, and hospice teams.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state of practice (compact license must transfer within 60 days)
• BSN from an accredited institution; education will be verified
• BLS certification for Healthcare Providers
• RNs with <12 months experience must obtain BSN within 4 years of hire

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care and serve as navigator for palliative care patients and families.
• Provide patient and family education on diagnosis, treatment options, and resources.
• Assess symptoms and collaborate with providers to support symptom management plans.
• Triage patient and family calls, questions, and care concerns.
• Coordinate services across primary care, specialty care, hospice, home health, and community resources.
• Support advance care planning conversations and documentation.
• Provide ongoing follow-up and care coordination throughout the patient’s journey.
