Job summary

Compassus seeks a Nurse Practitioner - PPV to provide compassionate palliative and hospice care for patients and families across locations in Maine. You will assess, educate, and manage symptoms while collaborating with the PCP and IDT to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.

The role requires a Master’s in Nursing and an active NP license in the state. Board certification in Hospice and Palliative Care is preferred; flexibility and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing required.
• Active and unencumbered Nurse Practitioner license in state of employment.
• Board Certification in Hospice and Palliative Care is preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide palliative/hospice care assessments, education, and symptom management.
• Collaborate with PCP, specialists, and IDT to coordinate care.
• Complete routine documentation and billing in a timely manner.
• Flex schedule to meet agency needs and after-hours visits as required.
