Job summary

Utz Quality Foods is expanding its Kings Mountain, NC facility and seeks a dedicated Raw Material Utility to handle materials, operate palletizing equipment, and support packaging operations for smooth production.

Responsibilities include safety adherence, programming robotic palletizers, recording pallet data, moving pallets to the warehouse, ensuring accurate labeling, and keeping work areas clean. Forklift certification on day one is preferred; Spanish speaking is a plus.

Qualifications

• Understanding of food safety rules, policies, and procedures.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Basic computer and data entry skills for tracking and monitoring equipment performance.
• Forklift certification (to be obtained day one).
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while staying organized and detail-oriented.
• Excellent communication and collaboration in a fast-paced production environment.
• Spanish-speaking preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety standards to maintain a zero-accident culture on the production floor.
• Operate and adjust robotic palletizers and production equipment, ensuring proper programming for new products and specifications.
• Accurately track and enter pallet data into data collection systems and complete inventory control logs.
• Review production schedules, move pallets to the warehouse, and ensure materials are staged for the next shift.
• Ensure labeling and barcoding are correct and address any packaging quality issues with attention to detail.
• Ensure that equipment and work areas are cleaned and well-maintained.
