Job summary

UTZ Brands, Inc in Kings Mountain, NC, is hiring a Raw Material Utility to join our expanding manufacturing facility.

This hands-on role involves material handling, operating palletizing equipment, and supporting packaging operations to ensure smooth, efficient production processes.

You will follow safety rules, track pallet data in our systems, process labels and barcodes, and maintain clean, organized work areas during the 2:00PM-10:30PM shift, Monday through Friday with Saturdays as needed.

Qualifications

• Understanding of food safety rules, policies, and procedures.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
• Basic computer and data entry skills for tracking and monitoring equipment performance.
• Forklift experience and the ability to obtain a certification on day one.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while staying organized and detail‑oriented.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a fast‑paced, production environment.
• Spanish‑speaking preferred but not required, to support diverse team communication.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety standards to maintain a zero-accident culture on the production floor.
• Operate and adjust robotic palletizers and production equipment, ensuring proper programming for new products and specifications.
• Accurately track and enter pallet data into our data collection systems and complete inventory control logs.
• Review production schedules, move pallets from the production area to the warehouse, and ensure materials are staged for the next shift.
• Ensure labeling and barcoding are correct and address any packaging quality issues with attention to detail.
• Ensure that equipment and work areas are cleaned and well‑maintained.
