Job summary

Utz Quality Foods in Kings Mountain, NC is seeking a dedicated Raw Material Utility to join our expanding manufacturing team. This hands-on role handles materials, operates palletizing equipment, and supports packaging to keep production running smoothly.

You will work a rotating schedule (Monday-Thursday and select Mondays and Wednesdays 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM), follow food safety rules, and maintain accurate pallet data and inventory logs.

Qualifications

• Understanding of food safety rules, policies, and procedures.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Basic computer and data entry skills for tracking and monitoring equipment performance.
• Forklift experience and the ability to obtain a certification on day one.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while staying organized and detail-oriented.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a fast-paced, production environment.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety standards to maintain a zero-accident culture on the production floor.
• Operate and adjust robotic palletizers and production equipment, ensuring proper programming for new products and specifications.
• Accurately track and enter pallet data into our data collection systems and complete inventory control logs.
• Review production schedules, move pallets from the production area to the warehouse, and ensure materials are staged for the next shift.
• Ensure labeling and barcoding are correct and address any packaging quality issues with attention to detail.
• Ensure that equipment and work areas are cleaned and well-maintained.
