Job summary

Utz Quality Foods, Inc. seeks a Raw Material Utility at the Kings Mountain, NC facility. The role involves material handling, operating palletizing equipment, and supporting packaging operations to keep production flowing.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 2:00PM-10:30PM, Saturdays as needed. Requires standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, basic data entry, and forklift certification on day one. Spanish language skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of food safety rules, policies and procedures.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Basic computer and data entry skills for tracking equipment performance.
• Forklift certification required on day one.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration on a production floor.
• Spanish-speaking preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and adjust robotic palletizers and production equipment, ensuring proper programming for new products and specs.
• Accurately track and enter pallet data into data collection systems; maintain inventory control logs.
• Review production schedules and move pallets from production to warehouse; ensure materials are staged for next shift.
• Ensure labeling and barcoding are correct; address packaging quality issues with attention to detail.
• Maintain clean and well-maintained equipment and work areas.
