Job summary

Utz Quality Foods, LLC in Kings Mountain, NC is seeking a dedicated Raw Material Utility to join our manufacturing team. This hands-on role handles materials, operates palletizing equipment, and supports packaging to ensure smooth production.

Rotating schedule Monday-Thursday and Monday & Wednesday 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM. Candidates should be able to stand long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and have forklift certification on day one.

Qualifications

• Understand food safety rules and procedures.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Basic computer and data entry skills for tracking equipment performance.
• Forklift experience with certification on day one.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while staying organized and detail-oriented.
• Excellent communication and collaboration in a fast-paced production environment.
• Spanish-speaking preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety standards to maintain a zero-accident culture on the production floor.
• Operate and adjust robotic palletizers and production equipment, ensuring proper programming for new products and specifications.
• Accurately track and enter pallet data into data collection systems and complete inventory control logs.
• Review production schedules, move pallets from the production area to the warehouse, and ensure materials are staged for the next shift.
• Ensure labeling and barcoding are correct and address any packaging quality issues with attention to detail.
• Ensure that equipment and work areas are cleaned and well-maintained.
