Job summary

The Pittsburgh Paint Company is seeking a Store Sales Associate to deliver an exceptional customer experience in a fast-paced retail environment. You will assist retail and contractor customers with product recommendations, color matching, and order support.

Reporting to the Store Manager, the Store Sales Associate helps drive sales success while maintaining a clean, organized, and customer-focused store environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass background check.
• Customer service experience preferred with a team-focused approach.
• Strong communication skills and professional interaction with customers.
• Ability to use a computer for order processing.
• Flexibility to work scheduled hours as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds occasionally and 40-60 pounds routinely, with standing and bending.
• Ability to operate a hand truck or material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by understanding customer needs and recommending the right products and solutions.
• Assist retail and contractor customers with product selection, color matching, and order processing.
• Mix, tint, and match paint products according to customer specifications.
• Build knowledge of Pittsburgh Paints Company brands, products, and store processes.
• Process customer orders and payments through phone, in-person, online, and email channels.
• Support sales initiatives and contribute to achieving store sales goals.
• Load, drive, and deliver customer orders via company vehicle.
• Resolve customer concerns and escalates issues when needed.
