Job summary

The Pittsburgh Paint Company is seeking a Store Sales Associate to join our US Commercial team. You will deliver excellent customer experiences in a fast-paced retail setting, assisting both retail and contractor customers with product selection, color matching, and order processing.

Responsibilities include processing orders and payments via multiple channels, stocking, delivering orders, and helping achieve store sales goals while maintaining a clean, safe environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license required; must pass all background items and physical.
• Customer service experience preferred with a team-focused approach.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with customers in a professional manner.
• Ability to use a computer and keyboard for order processing and customer support.
• Ability to work scheduled hours as needed, including flexibility based on business needs.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds occasionally and 40-60 pounds routinely, including standing, lifting, carrying, reaching, stooping, kneeling, and crouching.
• Ability to operate a hand truck and/or material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by understanding customer needs and recommending the right products and solutions
• Assist retail and contractor customers with product selection, color matching, and order processing
• Mix, tint, and match paint products according to customer specifications
• Build knowledge of Pittsburgh Paints Company brands, products, and store processes
• Process customer orders and payments through phone, in-person, online, and email channels
• Support sales initiatives and contribute to achieving store sales goals
• Load, drive, and deliver customer orders via company vehicle
• Resolve customer concerns and elevate issues when needed
• Safely handle, load, unload, and organize products for stocking and order fulfillment
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment
• Support daily store operations and team priorities as needed
