Job summary

The Pittsburgh Paints Company is seeking a Store Sales Associate to deliver an outstanding customer experience in a fast-paced retail setting. You will assist customers, match colors, process orders, and support store operations from front counter to checkout.

Reporting to the Store Manager, you will help drive sales, handle payments, and stock shelves while maintaining a clean, organized environment and a strong safety standard.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license required; background checks and physical may apply.
• Customer service experience preferred with a team‑focused approach.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with customers professionally.
• Ability to use a computer/keyboard for order processing and customer support.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by understanding customer needs and recommending products.
• Assist retail and contractor customers with product selection, color matching, and order processing.
• Mix, tint, and match paint products according to customer specifications.
• Process customer orders and payments via phone, in person, online, and email channels.
• Support sales initiatives and contribute to store sales goals.
• Load, drive, and deliver customer orders via company vehicle.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment.
