Job summary

The Pittsburgh Paints Company is seeking a Store Sales Associate to join the US Commercial team and deliver an exceptional customer experience in a fast-paced retail environment. You will support retail and contractor customers with product recommendations, color matching, order support, and outstanding service.

Reporting to the Store Manager, you will help drive sales while maintaining a clean, organized, and customer-focused store.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license is required; background and physical checks apply.
• Customer service experience preferred with a team-focused approach.
• Strong communication skills and professional interaction with customers.
• Ability to use a computer for order processing and customer support.
• Flexibility to work scheduled hours including weekends as needed.
• Ability to lift 80 lb occasionally and 40–60 lb routinely; standing and movement required.
• Ability to operate a hand truck or material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by understanding needs and recommending products.
• Assist retail and contractor customers with product selection, color matching, and orders.
• Mix, tint, and match paint to customer specifications.
• Learn Pittsburgh Paints Company brands, products, and store processes.
• Process customer orders and payments via phone, in-person, online, or email.
• Support sales initiatives and help achieve store goals.
• Load, drive, and deliver orders using company vehicle.
• Resolve customer concerns and escalate when needed.
• Safely handle, stock, and organize products for fulfillment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment.
