Job summary

The Pittsburgh Paints Company in Prosper, TX is seeking a Store Sales Associate to deliver an exceptional customer experience in a fast-paced retail environment. You will assist retail and contractor customers with product recommendations, color matching, and order support.

Reporting to the Store Manager, you will help maintain a clean, organized store, process orders and payments, load and deliver customer orders, and support daily store operations and team priorities.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred with a team-focused approach.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with customers professionally.
• Ability to use a computer and keyboard for order processing and customer support.
• Willingness to work scheduled hours and adapt to business needs.
• Physical ability to lift and move items as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by understanding customer needs and recommending the right products.
• Assist retail and contractor customers with product selection, color matching, and order processing.
• Mix, tint, and match paint products according to customer specifications.
• Build knowledge of Pittsburgh Paints Company brands, products, and store processes.
• Process customer orders and payments through phone, in-person, online, and email channels.
• Support sales initiatives and contribute to achieving store sales goals.
• Load, drive, and deliver customer orders via company vehicle.
• Resolve customer concerns and elevate issues when needed.
• Safely handle, load, unload, and organize products for stocking and order fulfillment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment.
• Support daily store operations and team priorities as needed.
