Job summary

The Pittsburgh Paints Company is hiring a Store Sales Associate to deliver an outstanding customer experience in a fast-paced retail setting. You will support retail and contractor customers with product recommendations, color matching, and order processing while maintaining a clean, organized store environment.

Reporting to the Store Manager, you will help drive sales, participate in handling payments through various channels, and assist with stock, safety, and daily store operations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license not required for this role but essential for deliveries, if applicable.
• Customer service experience preferred with a team-focused approach.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with customers in a professional manner.
• Ability to use a computer and keyboard for order processing and customer support.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds occasionally and 40–60 pounds routinely, including standing, lifting, carrying, reaching, stooping, kneeling, and crouching.
• Able to work scheduled hours including flexibility based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by understanding customer needs and recommending products.
• Assist retail and contractor customers with product selection, color matching, and order processing.
• Mix, tint, and match paint products according to customer specifications.
• Process customer orders and payments through multiple channels.
• Support sales initiatives and contribute to achieving store goals.
• Load, drive, and deliver customer orders via company vehicle when required.
• Safely handle, stock, and organize products for stocking and fulfillment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment.
• Support daily store operations and team priorities as needed.
