Job summary

The Pittsburgh Paint Company in Houston is hiring a Store Sales Associate to deliver an exceptional customer experience in a fast-paced retail environment. You will support retail and contractor customers with product recommendations, color matching, and order processing, while building knowledge of our brands and store procedures.

The role reports to the Store Manager and contributes to sales goals by delivering friendly service, handling orders, and maintaining a clean, organized store.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license, pass background check and any required physical.
• Customer service experience preferred with a team focus.
• Strong communication skills and professional demeanor with customers.
• Able to use a computer for order processing and support.
• Flexible hours including store schedule as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by understanding needs and recommending products.
• Assist retail and contractor customers with selection, color matching, and orders.
• Mix, tint, and match paint according to customer specifications.
• Maintain knowledge of Pittsburgh Paints Company brands and store processes.
• Process orders and payments through phone, in-person, online, and email channels.
• Support sales initiatives and help achieve store goals.
• Load, drive, and deliver customer orders via company vehicle.
• Safely handle, stock, and organize products for fulfillment.
• Keep the store clean, safe, and organized and support daily operations.
