Job summary

The Pittsburgh Paints Company is seeking a Store Sales Associate to join the US Commercial team in a fast-paced retail environment. You will help retail and contractor customers with product recommendations, color matching, and order support.

Reporting to the Store Manager, you’ll drive sales while maintaining a clean, organized store and delivering exceptional service. Must be 18+, with a valid driver’s license and the ability to lift up to 80 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Customer service experience preferred with a team-focused approach.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with customers in a professional manner.
• Ability to use a computer for order processing and customer support.
• Ability to work scheduled hours including flexibility based on business needs.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds occasionally and 40–60 pounds routinely.
• Ability to operate a hand truck and/or material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by understanding customer needs and recommending the right products and solutions.
• Assist retail and contractor customers with product selection, color matching, and order processing.
• Mix, tint, and match paint products according to customer specifications.
• Build knowledge of Pittsburgh Paints Company brands, products, and store processes.
• Process customer orders and payments through phone, in-person, online, and email channels.
• Support sales initiatives and contribute to achieving store sales goals.
• Load, drive, and deliver customer orders via company vehicle.
• Resolve customer concerns and escalated issues when needed.
• Safely handle, load, unload, and organize products for stocking and order fulfillment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment.
• Support daily store operations and team priorities as needed.
