Job summary

The Pittsburgh Paints Company seeks a Store Sales Associate to deliver a superior shopping experience in a fast-paced retail setting. You will assist customers, provide color matching, process orders, and support store operations.

Reporting to the Store Manager, you will help drive sales, maintain a clean, organized store, and handle in-person, phone, and online orders. The role requires good communication, reliability, and the ability to lift up to 80 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license required with ability to pass background checks.
• Customer service experience preferred with a team-focused approach.
• Strong communication skills and professional interaction with customers.
• Ability to use computers for order processing and support.
• Flexibility to work scheduled hours as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds occasionally and 40–60 pounds routinely.
• Operate hand truck and/or material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by understanding needs and recommending products.
• Assist retail and contractor customers with product selection, color matching, and orders.
• Mix, tint, and match paint products per customer specs.
• Build knowledge of Pittsburgh Paints Company brands and store processes.
• Process orders and payments through phone, in-person, online, and email channels.
• Support sales initiatives and help achieve store sales goals.
• Load, drive, and deliver customer orders using the company vehicle.
• Resolve customer concerns and elevate issues when needed.
• Safely handle, stock, and organize products for fulfillment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment.
• Support daily store operations and team priorities.
