Job summary

Vertex Pharmaceuticals LLC seeks a Territory Account Manager for the US Pain Business Unit. The role builds and maintains relationships with hospitals, ASC networks, and select physician offices, driving advocacy and sales growth while navigating formulary processes and payer considerations.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in biotech sales, 3+ years in account management, and a track record of executing strategic plans with patient focus. Travel up to 80% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 7+ years in biotech/hospital sales.
• 3+ years of account management and established institutional relationships.
• Experience navigating formulary review and gaining product access.

Responsibilities

• Establish relationships with hospital systems, formulary decision makers and staff.
• Develop and execute strategic account plans for the pain portfolio.
• Collaborate with field medical, HEOR, payer teams and HQ for aligned plans.
• Drive sales, meet forecasts and manage territory budgets.
