Vertex is seeking experienced commercial leaders for the US Pain Business Unit to support potential commercialization of an investigational NaV1.8 inhibitor in acute pain. The Territory Account Manager will manage 15-20 institutions and select community prescribers, travel up to 80% as needed, and live near an airport.

Responsibilities include building physician and administrator relationships, educating on product value, and navigating formularies.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 7+ years in biotech sales; hospital/institution product launches desirable.
• 3+ years of account management experience and ability to leverage institutional relationships.
• Proven ability to navigate hospital institutions and engage formulary management to gain product access.
• Experience with inpatient formularies, protocols, pathways, and order sets.
• Highly proficient IT capabilities to support business needs including CRM.

• Educate healthcare professionals on product attributes and patient needs.
• Navigate formularies and deliver value content for inclusion on pathways and protocols.
• Develop deep understanding of institutional customers and market dynamics.

• Drive sales performance and meet territory forecasts and budgets.
• Collaborate with field teams and HQ to align business plans and initiatives.
• Model ethics and integrity to earn trust with external stakeholders.
