Job summary

Halff is seeking a Water/Wastewater Intern to support our Civil Engineering team in Fort Worth. The internship runs June 7, 2027 through August 13, 2027 and is paid hourly, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

You will assist with drainage and stormwater analysis, pipeline and facility modeling, and water resources design under the supervision of a Professional Engineer. Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering is required, with ABET accreditation preferred and

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering degree.
• Experience with HEC-RAS and HEC-HMS is required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills requested.

Responsibilities

• Design civil engineering projects under the supervision of a Professional Engineer.
• Assist in drainage and stormwater analysis and design.
• Support Water & Wastewater Utility projects including modeling and planning.
• Prepare plans, specs, and cost estimates for Water Resources projects.
• Perform drafting CAD work and calculations for design projects.
• Assist in permit applications and regulatory documents.
