Job summary

FedEx Logistics in Memphis is seeking a detail-oriented import specialist to coordinate U.S. customs documentation for shipments. You will work with importers and internal teams to ensure timely release and compliance.

Responsibilities include data entry into multiple systems, determining correct classifications, handling agency filings, and maintaining accurate shipment records while delivering high service levels. Requires HS diploma, 1 year of related experience, and ability to work evenings.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 months of industry experience preferred.
• Data entry/keyboard experience required.
• Working knowledge of MS Office and email applications (Outlook) using multiple screens/windows.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate documentation required by US Customs/Government Agencies for entry of goods.
• Provide impeccable customer service.
• Obtain correct classification of goods for customs release.
• Data entry and processing of import documentation for submission to US Customs with PGA handling.
• Maintain shipment documentation in compliance with record keeping requirements.
• Adhere to import/export regulations and work with internal teams and government agencies.
• Process agency brokerage shipments and may handle remote filings.
• Perform entry reconciliations and follow up on customs matters.
