Job summary

FedEx Logistics seeks a detail-oriented professional to coordinate the documentation required for US customs entry on behalf of importers. You will provide excellent customer service, classify goods for customs release, and process import-related paperwork across multiple systems, ensuring compliance and timely delivery.

The role involves handling high volumes with precision and collaborating with internal teams.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of experience using computer systems for data entry and document creation.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle high volumes and time-sensitive work; work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate documentation required by US Customs and Government Agencies for entry of goods into the US.
• Provide impeccable customer service.
• Classify goods for customs release using databases, SOPs, tariff books or internet.
• Process and enter import-related documentation for submission to US Customs; may handle limited participating Government Agencies.
• Maintain and keep current all shipment documentation in compliance with record-keeping requirements.
• Adhere to international importing regulations and work with internal staff to deliver high-level service.
• Process agency brokerage shipments and ensure policies are followed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
