Job summary

Murphy-Hoffman Company (MHC-Kenworth) seeks a Summer Operations Intern for Kansas City. The 12-week program rotates through Parts or Service, giving hands-on experience while contributing to the business.

You will execute business initiatives, learn under supervision, and develop skills to rotate across departments. The internship also serves as a pipeline into MHC's Full-Time Management Trainee Program.

Qualifications

• Actively pursuing a graduate or undergraduate degree at an accredited college or university.
• Willingness to work 40 hours per week for 10-12 weeks during the summer.
• Leadership and sales skills strongly preferred.
• Strong commitment to providing quality work and excellent customer service.
• Ability to accept constructive feedback.

Responsibilities

• Execute business initiatives with hands-on experience in all facets of the dealership.
• Perform assigned tasks under close supervision of a manager.
• Rotate through departments to gain understanding of daily operations.
• Lead a summer-long process improvement project.
• Internship is a pipeline into the Full-Time Management Trainee Program.
