Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is excited to offer the 2027 Buckeye Pathways Summer Internship (BPSI), a 10-week program exposing students to areas of the health system. Interns work in teams, supported by an Executive Leader mentor, and participate in meaningful projects.

Eligible juniors in specified majors with a 3.0 GPA, available for 38 hours/week in person, and proficient in Microsoft Office are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled as a junior in a bachelor's degree program with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Majors: Business, Healthcare, Public Health, Psychology, or other healthcare-related majors.
• Available for 38 hours in-person per week.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Work in a fast-paced team environment and complete projects across health system areas.
• Receive mentorship from an Executive Leader and gain leadership development experience.
• Engage in personal and professional development, volunteering, and monthly lunch-and-learns.
• Projects will focus on Hospital Administration, Operations, Human Resources, Ambulatory Services and Mental and Behavioral Health.
• Conclude the internship by presenting the summer experience to senior leaders.
