Job summary

Capital District Physicians Health Plan Inc is offering a paid 10-week Summer College Internship Program designed to develop students through workshops, mentorship, and meaningful projects across diverse tracks.

Interns will gain exposure to operations, analytics, IT, and business areas while working under managers and mentors. Housing is not included; the program runs June through August with a 40-hour work week.

Qualifications

• Majors in Business & Management, Mathematics & Data Science, or similar programs.
• Excel experience, strong attention to detail, good communication skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with diverse audiences.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
• Team-oriented with the ability to work across departments.
• Self-motivated, independent work style with initiative.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and verify audit information for the BCBSA FEP IPA audit data.
• Collect data, verify accuracy, and confirm submissions from others.
• Learn and participate in the Dental Claims audit and report findings.
• Attend Ops Audit meetings and support project delivery.
• Create and deliver presentations at internship completion.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold member privacy guidance.
