Job summary

Capital District Physicians Health Plan Inc invites students to join a 10-week paid Summer College Internship Program in Utica, NY. Interns gain hands-on experience across multiple tracks, attend development workshops, and receive mentorship from managers throughout the summer.

Interns may work in technical or non-technical areas and participate in workshops focused on key business concepts. Housing is not provided, and the program runs June through August, with up to 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to interact with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently or in teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and verify audit information for the FEP IPA audit support; collect data and verify accuracy.
• Verify data submitted by other Operations Auditors and assist with the Dental Claims audit.
• Attend Ops Audit meetings and participate in review of potential findings and feedback.
• Support mentor-driven projects and complete tasks based on business needs and priorities.
• Create and deliver a presentation at internship conclusion.
