Qualifications

• Fluent in verbal and written English language.
• Basic computer skills.
• Lifting and carrying 40-50 lbs; frequent standing and walking.
• Current enrollment in an accredited prelicensure nursing program with anticipated graduation within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Observes, collects, and documents patient information and reports changes to RN.
• Assists patients and families during admission, orientation, and discharge.
• Performs nursing care tasks per plan of care (vital signs, wound care, ADLs).
• Provides direct and indirect patient care under supervision of RN or provider.
• Supports patient education and learning with RNs and other staff.
