Job summary

Ruppert Landscape invites motivated students to join its Landscape Maintenance Internship, a 10–12 week, paid program running May–August 2027. You’ll gain hands-on field training, shadow diverse teams, and receive dedicated mentorship while contributing to real projects in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll develop practical skills in landscape production, branch operations, and professional networking, with a path toward potential full-time opportunities after graduation.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED
• Actively pursuing a degree in Horticulture, Turf Management, Agribusiness, Business Management, Operations Management, Construction Management, or related field
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable working in both office and outdoor field environments
• Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

• Participate in hands-on field training across multiple areas of field operations
• Shadow teams in Field Operations, Irrigation, Enhancements, Sales, and Branch Leadership
• Receive dedicated mentorship and feedback to support professional development
• Engage in management and leadership development activities
• Collaborate with peers on meaningful projects and team-based learning
• Attend local branch events and expand professional networks
• Potentially choose a department for additional training at internship end
• Deliver a final presentation highlighting internship experiences and learnings
