Job summary

Ruppert Landscape Co. offers a 10–12 week paid internship in landscape maintenance, May–August 2027. You’ll gain hands-on field training, shadow multiple departments, and receive dedicated mentorship to develop leadership and practical industry knowledge.

The program emphasizes hands-on experience in field and office operations, with opportunities to present your work and grow your professional network. Top performers may transition to full-time roles after graduation.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Actively pursuing a degree in Horticulture, Turf Management, Agribusiness, Business Management, Operations Management, Construction Management, or related field.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to support a variety of operational needs in a team setting.
Comfortable working in both office and outdoor field environments.
Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds.
Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

Gain hands-on experience in field operations alongside crews.
Shadow teams in Field Operations, Irrigation, Enhancements, Sales, and Branch Leadership.
Work with a sponsoring mentor and receive regular feedback.
Develop management and leadership skills through structured activities.
Collaborate on meaningful projects with interns and professionals.
Build a professional network within Ruppert Landscape.
Present internship experience and learnings at program end.
Potential for full-time opportunities after graduation.
