Job summary

Flik Hospitality Group is offering a paid Culinary Internship at the Washington Nationals Training Facility in Washington, DC. The program runs Summer 2027 (May–August) with a full-time schedule; interns must be currently enrolled in a hospitality or culinary program and may have 1 year of industry experience.

The role includes meals, uniforms, and laundering at select locations. Interns will rotate through kitchen stations, engage with guests, and learn wellness, safety, and sustainability

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in a college/university and pursuing a Hospitality Management and/or Culinary Arts degree.
• GPA requirements for internship must be met.
• Sanitation standards training completed.
• Knife skills coursework or Intro to Culinary coursework.
• Available to work 20–40 hours/week based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through FOH and BOH stations depending on location or operational needs.
• Engage with guests and tailor plates to dietary needs.
• Meet with the team dietitian.
• Review culinary and front-of-house standards.
• Learn wellness and sustainability initiatives.
• Adhere to platinum service customer service standards.
• Practice safety and sanitation protocols.
• Assist with catering events, including setup and execution.
• Develop professional relationships and enhance interpersonal skills.
